Responsible Gaming Week
In 2018, Responsible Gaming Week was a huge success. The IGRG has announced that this year’s edition will take place from 7th – 13th November 2019.
Responsible Gambling Week continues to have great support across the industry, in all sectors. These include online and land-based casinos, bookmakers, bingo clubs and arcades. The event aims to reach the widest possible audience. The goals of RG Week are to raise awareness of:
- how to gamble more safely
- the tools available to help customers gamble responsibly
- where to find more help and support for those who need it
Responsible Gambling is about betting without putting yourself at risk of harm. It is important to understand the odds of the game you are playing. Chance is what makes gambling entertaining. But it is also what makes it a risk.
Aspers Casinos are in line with Responsible Gambling policies. They propose a range of options which makes players gameplay more comfortable. For instance, the choices are as follows:
- Take a break
- Close your account
- Deposit limits
- Reality Checks
Aspers Group won the ‘Socially Responsible Operator of the Year, Land Based’ for the second time in 2017. The awards were held at the prestigious International Gaming Awards in London. There were many major International casino operatorsand the judges had to make a choice. They recognised that the Aspers Group has continued to go the extra mile in applying procedures for protecting their players.
Back in 2013, the group won the same peer awarded commendation. “I am delighted that Aspers’ commitment to socially responsible gaming has again been recognised at the International Gaming Awards,’’ said Richard Noble, COO of Aspers.
